Q&A

Why can't I meditate?

Not ever? Perhaps you are defining "meditation" within too limited boundaries. Meditation can happen in a moment, when you take in a gentle breath of something you love. It can happen when you watch a spider weave a web, or a lovely sunset, or listen to the rain.

Meditation can happen in a moment, when you take in a gentle breath of something you love.

It can happen when you watch a spider weave a web, or a lovely sunset, or listen to the rain.

Another possibility is that you are expecting a specific result of what you consider meditational behavior, rather than having no expectation. Mindfulness training will help, even through UTube or a CD.

One simple meditation I use to rest is thinking, or even saying, "E-nough," as I take a breath in, and then out.
