When you die, what do you want to leave behind?
Agape, love of fellow being, is my ministry while I’m alive. I would want the people I leave behind (whether it’s a passage into death, or a physical move away) to believe in their abilities to have intuitive communication with all living things, and still feel the connection, albeit different, with those which are no longer physically here.

How do you meditate to find an answer to something?
I write the question down, and leave it before meditation, no matter what kind of meditation or mindfulness practice I engage it. Sometimes I let solid sleep come in between writing the question, and having insight for an answer. Insight usually occurs in the in-between moments between alertness and meditative or sleep state (or vice versa).

What would you do if you lost absolutely everything and everyone tonight and what is the first thing you would do in the morning?
I would kneel on the ground, scoop up energy from the ground, look up through the leaves or needles of a tree to the sky, bring energy down into myself. I would be numb to my pain of loss, and immersed in nature. In this meditative transcendence, I would allow nature to flow through me and dispose of my corporeal being. I believe in a universal, timeless soul-energy.

How do other vets cope with euthenasias and cases where they feel inadequate professionally? How do I know if I have compassion fatigue?
Compassion fatigue begins gradually, then in an instant crisis blooms fully. It shuts down your ability to have “normal” emotions in all parts of your life. Intense grief differs, but has similar physiomental effects: lowered immune system, numbness, irritability, feeling your mind is out of control, memory impairment, lack of focus and concentration.
