Banded Field Under a Treeline

Zanna Smith

This watercolor painting depicts a broad field rendered as horizontal bands of magenta, gold, plum, and green, running back to a dark treeline beneath a pale blue-green sky. The color is stippled and layered so the bands read as blooming crops rather than flat stripes.
